The Black Bears are smaller than the grizzle, but can
be just as deadly. Don’t get in between
mommy and babies.

never lucky enough to see them. 
The next few pic are of a mommy black bear and here 3
little clubs. They wanted to come down from the woods and feed on
the pink salmon at the fish hatchery, but the mommy grizzle bear with her 4
clubs scared her away. This is the black bear that the mommy grizzle was smelled in the other pic.
